A Saudi Arabian royal who was in a coma for over twenty years following a car accident in London has passed away. Prince Al Waleed, born in April 1990, was the eldest son of Prince Khalid bin Talal Al Saud and the nephew of Prince Al Waleed bin Talal.
At 15, while at a UK military college in 2005, he suffered serious brain injuries and internal bleeding in a road accident.
Nicknamed the “Sleeping Prince,” he remained on a ventilator in hospital and never regained full consciousness.
