A U.S. intelligence report found that last month’s American airstrikes severely damaged only one of three Iranian nuclear sites, while the other two sustained minor damage and could be operational again within months.
NBC reported that recent U.S. airstrikes targeted Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility, with officials claiming the attack delayed Iran’s uranium enrichment by at least two years.
The report stated that the Isfahan and Natanz sites were largely unharmed, and officials believe they could soon resume uranium enrichment.
However, White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly told NBC that “Operation Midnight Hammer destroyed Iran’s nuclear capabilities,” echoing President Trump’s earlier comments.
Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell confirmed that President Trump was confident the Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz sites were destroyed, adding, “There is no doubt about it.”
